Mollers No. 78
Designed in 1965, JL 78 and it’s companion armchair JL 62 have proved to be two of the Company’s most successful and enduring chairs.
The construction of the strong mortice joints with interlocking tenons at each corner of the seat, alleviates the need for additional stretchers. This detail gives Møllers chairs a light elegant appearance and is particularly true of JL 78 and JL 62.
Neils Møller added the two distinctive horns to the top of the front legs of Model 78, an almost anthropomorphic detail which functions as the perfect place to rest your thumbs and forefingers when seated. It is such meticulous

The three horizontal rails that flow almost seamlessly from the back legs as they rise above the seat provide excellent support for the lower back.
Like the majority Møller chairs the seat can be in woven paper cord of upholstered in a wide range of fabrics or leathers.
