Mollers No. 71
JL71 Hallingdal
Dining chair JL 71 and its matching arm chair JL55 were the first J L Møllers chairs to be produced by Neils Otto Møller in 1951. The two chairs feature a carved wooden back support.
The construction of the strong mortice joints with interlocking tenons at each corner of the seat, alleviates the need for additional stretchers. This detail gives Møllers chairs a light elegant appearance and is of course accentuated on chair JL71 due to the rectilinear vertical front and rear legs.
Like the majority Møller chairs the seat can be in woven paper cord of upholstered in a wide range of fabrics or leathers.
